We had a great time at Who’s Yer Con last weekend! It was my first con in years and I cannot thank the staff and volunteers enough for making it a smooth experience. I hope everyone who bought comics enjoys their stuff and keeps with the art form.

Gemstone has had the EC Comics license for years now, and had been reprinting the complete series in full color hardcovers, but stopped way short of the complete runs. Lately, they have been re-offering the in-print volumes quite frequently in Previews. It looks like they are trying to burn off stock, since Fantagraphics is planning on doing an EC collection project. If the solicits (on Amazon) are correct, these will be a departure from the last 30 years worth of reprints in they shall be focusing on individual artists – Wally Wood and Harvey Kurtzman are the first two.

Of course, we can only hope that there shall be one for the recently departed John Severin.

I finally lost patience with “ipowerweb” as a host and jumped ship and will be completely revamping the site.  I could re-up the old site, but I’m trying to make a clean break – some of the old content will be resurrected, but some was so bloody out of date its not worth the time.  Hopefully, I can grok dreamweaver ASAP…
